
Lowell began acting in Dangerously Close, followed by one small role in Club Paradise, starring as Robin Williams. She also had roles co-starring alongside Bond girl Pam Bouvier, in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989) as well as Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross, in 1996. Also, she appeared in Law & Order for two seasons. In 2005, she appeared in the similar role as Jamie Ross on Law & Order: Trial by Jury. And again in 2022 on the original show. [6] Prior to taking on the role she was dissatisfied with her acting career. She applied to New York University's documentary filmmaking course. [4] In the late 2000s the actress stopped acting. In 2012, Lowell lent her likeness and voice to reprise her Licence to Kill role in the video game 007 Legends. The year 2018 saw her return to television, where she was a guest on Blue Bloods. [7][8] Personal life Lowell has been married three more times. John Stember was her first husband. She was married to him from 1984 until 1988. [9][10] She was married to actor Griffin Dunne from 1989 to 1995. She has a daughter, Hannah, from the marriage. [citation needed] Lowell got married to Richard Gere in November 2002 [11] after the birth of their son Homer James Jigme Gere. After 11 years of marriage, they separated in September of 2013.
