Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She also has produced films such as Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. The majority of her childhood was located in Los Angeles where she came from a family of middle-class. The idea of instilling a love for films in her daughter was something that she learned from her mother, who was also a fan of movies. Paula participated in co-curricular school events, and she particularly enjoyed acting. She enjoyed performing in stage productions with her friends. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School provided her with numerous opportunities to be an actor during her high school years and she decided to pursue acting as a career. Through a program for summer offered by the University of Southern California, she was awe-inspiring there. The program was awarded to her by PBS to make documentaries for 3 months. After completing the task, she began being a production assistant for TV documentaries. After completing her assignment, she started producing documentary films. She still had a dream to work as an actress although she was content with her current job. Her career in acting started with an unimportant role with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she's been in numerous well-known television and film shows.
