Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington, a Greek American businesswoman and syndicated journalist is an author. She co-founded The Huffington Post the founder and chief executive officer of Thrive Global and the author of 15 books. Arianna Huffington, an independent liberal news site, is a television personality as well as a writer and charitable donor. When she moved from Greece to England from Greece when she was 16 She earned an MA in Economics at Cambridge University. First foreign-born graduate to be elected president of the highly regarded debating group The Cambridge Union, at 21 years old she took on the role. Then she became a syndicated conservative writer following her graduation. When The Huffington Post launched a few years later, she developed an online platform for voice with a critique of current political scenarios. Her fame led to the recruitment of a variety of renowned contributors. Arianna became famous in 2003 when she decided to run independently in the California recall vote to succeed then Governor Davis. Additionally, she led the Detroit Project for fuel-efficient cars. Forbes listed her as the top woman in the field of media in the year 2009. Her ranking was 12th on the list. The Guardian also included her on the list of top 100 media outlets in the year 2009. AOL, Inc. made her the President of their media division in 2011 after they bought The Huffington Post. The Huffington Post included other AOL brands, including Engadget AOLmusic Style list and Patch Media. Elli is the daughter of Konstantinos Stasinopoulos as well as Elli the other, both of whom are journalist and management consultants. She was very close with her father.
