Fawn Mckay

Fawn McCay Brodie was born in Ogden Utah September 15, 1915. Fawn McCay was born Utah's Ogden in 1915. She was a member of the Mormon church's founding family. She used her creativity in writing and her extraordinary abilities to research in order to create an amazing, psychohistorical biography of Joseph Smith. It was published in the year 45 with the title, "No Man Knows My History". The title was inspired by the title of a sermon that Joseph Smith delivered in 1844. He shocked his hearers with the statement: You don't know me, and have not heard my voice. My past is not known to anyone. The truth is, I don't know. Fawn (29 years old) wrote that she has been honest since the moment she made her statement the three hundred and thirty writers have stood up to the event. Many have mocked and denigrated his character, whereas others have attempted to diagnose the problem. It isn't that there aren't enough documents but they're rather divergent. In order to assemble these documentsin order to distinguish first-hand accounts from thirdhand plagiarism, and to then put Mormon as well as non Mormon accounts together into a credible mosaic is no easy task. This is exciting as well as instructive. Fawn Brodie's professional life was dedicated to this goal. Her research and writings made her famous all over the world: Thaddeus Stephens. The Devil Drives (1959) Scourge of the South Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon, An Intimate historiography (1974), posthumous.
